In comparison to other regions of the country, the northern region experiences a more intense winter. Every year, as winter sets in, the suffering of the vulnerable becomes evident, with the bone-chilling cold causing immense hardship. The relentless flow of winter and the dense fog surrounding the northern areas leave them vulnerable. Additionally, there is little to no assistance reaching the remote char areas. As a result, the impoverished and vulnerable individuals face difficulties in obtaining winter clothing, impacting their quality of life.

To address this issue, Prokriti O Jibon Shastho Seba Kendro are distributing blankets as winter clothing to the destitute and distressed individuals in villages and char areas across all 64 districts of the country.
